About the Coupeville Arts Center

Coupeville Arts Center Artist

The Coupeville Arts Center, a not-for-profit visual arts education organization, is located on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State. Each year the Coupeville Arts Center offers over 100 workshops in a variety of visual arts, including fiber arts, painting, photography, and 3-D arts. Founded in 1986 as an outgrowth of the Coupeville Festival Association, the Coupeville Arts Center has grown into a nationally recognized art school with a renowned visiting faculty.

The mission of the Coupeville Arts Center is to enhance the arts learning experience by providing visual arts workshops through:

  • Exceptional dedication to excellence;
  • A unique, nourishing environment; and
  • Celebrating of the spirit of the arts.

The Coupeville Arts Center owes its life to those who founded it, the dedicated Board of Directors, the hard-working staff, the generous members and volunteers, the exceptional and talented faculty, and of course to its students.
