The Coupeville Arts Center, a not-for-profit visual arts education organization, is located on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State. Each year the Coupeville Arts Center offers over 100 workshops in a variety of visual arts, including fiber arts, painting, photography, and 3-D arts. Founded in 1986 as an outgrowth of the Coupeville Festival Association, the Coupeville Arts Center has grown into a nationally recognized art school with a renowned visiting faculty.

The 3rd Annual Plein Air Painters’ U.S. Open Returns to Whidbey Island

Artists, come celebrate the 3rd Annual Plein Air Painters’ U.S. Open with the Coupeville Arts Center September 3-7, 2008. Join over 100 plein air artists in an open competition (no jury to enter) painting the beautiful scenery on Whidbey island.
