The Coupeville Arts Center, a not-for-profit visual arts education organization, is located on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State. Each year the Coupeville Arts Center offers over 100 workshops in a variety of visual arts, including fiber arts, painting, photography, and 3-D arts. Founded in 1986 as an outgrowth of the Coupeville Festival Association, the Coupeville Arts Center has grown into a nationally recognized art school with a renowned visiting faculty.

Artists, come celebrate the 3rd Annual Plein Air Painters’ U.S. Open with the Coupeville Arts Center September 3-7, 2008. Join over 100 plein air artists in an open competition (no jury to enter) painting the beautiful scenery on Whidbey island. The entire Island is open to “paint” this year.
